Former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant is joining those on social media criticizing ESPN NBA host Malika Andrews.

Andrews is not believed to have spoken out on the situation involving Oklahoma City Thunder player Josh Giddey, who is Australian. The NBA is looking into allegations of Giddey having a relationship with a minor.

The ESPN host was quite critical of former Alabama Crimson Tide star Brandon Miller, who is Black, on the night of the NBA Draft. Miller’s gun was allegedly used by one of his teammates in a fatal shooting in Tuscaloosa. Miller allegedly had no knowledge of the intent to use the weapon in a shooting.

Bryant is calling on Andrews to speak out on Giddey, like she did with Miller.

“Why haven’t you said nothing about Josh Giddey,” he tweeted.

“I advise you not to make this a black or white thing,” he continued.

“Your parents really raised you wrong and just because you went to a private school don’t make you better.”

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith is among those who have defended Andrews for her questioning of Miller on NBA Draft night.

“She getting crucified leading into the Draft because she’s asking Brandon Miller a question or bringing up somebody’s past,” Smith said while appearing on the Los Angeles Clippers NBA All-Star Paul George podcast. “She had an obligation to ask those questions.

“She did her job. If she doesn’t do her job, she’s off the air. They like what we need you for?”

Giddey, meanwhile, had “no comment” when asked by reporters about the investigation earlier this month.
