Buffalo Bills devotees are known as some of the most wild in the NFL, so it only makes sense a supporter of the Western New York squad won a heated costume contest at Fanatics Fest over the weekend.
The prize? Tickets to the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup, World Series, Wrestlemania, MLS championship and a big UFC fight.
As his sports firm’s three-day extravaganza at the Javits Center wrapped, Fanatics founder Michael Rubin wrote on X Sunday, “Saw A TON of incredible super fan outfits this weekend at Fanatics Fest, but Sarah from Buffalo dressed as a Bills fan jumping on a table was by far the most creative of them all! I can’t wait to see what outfits you guys come up with next time.”
Indeed, Sarah’s outfit included an entire plastic table and the optical illusion she was crashing through it — a bizarro Bills tradition that began at tailgating parties in 2015 when someone sent a Patriots fan flying in the team’s parking lot.
Local Buffalo radio station WYRK further decoded the costume by reporting: “Sarah from Buffalo was the weekend’s winner with her costume as a Bills fan, complete with a plastic table, Zubaz pants, beer pong and even ketchup and mustard bottles for the big ceremony before the game.”
