Fired-Up Josh Allen Cheers Yankees in High-Stakes Showdown Against Dodgers

The New York Yankees had a special rabbit’s foot in their corner today. Josh Allen, the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, showed up in full NY-style at the Yankees Stadium.

The Yankees trailed 0-3 heading into the fourth game of the 2024 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Bronx Bombers bottom order came through as the Yankees defeated the Dodgers 11-4 to keep their title dreams alive. The 28-year-old quarterback’s charm and spirit seemed to translate to the game as the Firebaugh native wholeheartedly cheered from the stands.

Josh Allen did pull up his fashion game as well. He arrived in a low-key ensemble consisting of a navy Yankees cap with a khaki brim, perfectly paired with a tan jacket.

Allen has previously shown up for the New York Yankees since the start of his stint at Buffalo. The quarterback participated in batting practice at Toronto’s Rogers Centre before a Blue Jays-Yankees game in May 2023. Allen was joined by fellow Bills players Matt Barkley and Kyle Allen. During this session, Allen hit four home runs, a recall to his younger days when he exhibited talent in multiple sports.

Earlier, in June 2021, Allen threw the ceremonial first pitch at a Blue Jays-Yankees game held at Sahlen Field in Buffalo. His presence and enthusiasm were well-received by fans, adding to the excitement of the game. The Yankees recorded a win that day as well.

The New York Yankees play the Dodgers in yet another do-or-die game tomorrow at the Yankees Stadium. The Yankees, who are the most successful team in the league, last won a title in 2009. Meanwhile, the Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 in 2020 to win their sixth title.

Josh Allen is enjoying some quality time amid a good start to season

The Buffalo Bills are one of the safest teams in the league at the moment. They enjoy a comfortable lead in the AFC East with six wins from eight games. Miami Dolphins, who are second in the group, have only two wins. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots and New York Jets both have 2-6 records.

It is only fair that Josh Allen takes some time off and have fun in between as well. He has been playing quite great, threatening Lamar Jackson’s quest to consecutive MVPs. The Bills player, in addition to the trip to Yankees stadium for World Series game, had some fun with the Bills colleagues as well. Allen and his girlfriend Hailee Steinfield had a Halloween bash for his team the other day.
