Unveiling the Mummy of Queen Tiye, the captivating wife of Amenhotep III and mother of Akhenaten.

In a groundbreaking discovery, Russian scientists from the Kurchatov Institute in Moscow have unveiled the ultra-secret hair care products of ancient Egyptians.

In a surprising revelation, the mummies of ancient Egypt, aged over 3000 years, have been found in perfect condition, defying the ravages of time.

Russian scientists deciphered the secret behind the hairstyling of ancient Egyptians, leaving corpses remarkably preserved for millennia.

Employing cutting-edge technology, scientists uncovered the ancient Egyptian haircare serum’s secret, featuring ingredients such as beef fat, castor oil, beeswax, pine gum, and aromatic pistachio oil as an optional addition.

Ancient Egyptians applied the serum to their hair, resulting in spirals that remained impeccably preserved for over three centuries.

According to scientists, the formula for hair differed from the one used for the body.

Dr. Viktor Pozhidayev, the principal investigator of the biotechnology and bioenergy department at the institute, stated, “We have conducted investigations on three corpses from Ancient Egypt.

“All from the first millennium BCE.

“Believing that special formulations were used in its preparation for embalming, we determined its recipe.”

Researchers utilized mass spectrometry to identify components that had dissolved over time by recording spectra before and after treatment with a solvent to determine the dissolved components.

According to the results, the hair ointment contained beef fat, castor oil, and beeswax.

Additional investigations revealed that pine resin contains abietic and dehydroabietic acids.

In the hair treatments of two out of the three corpses, aromatic pistachio oil was present.

The Journal of Analytical Chemistry published the research.

The discovery was part of an extensive investigation of mummies at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.

Using modern technologies such as positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography, scientists were able to examine the corpses without altering their structures.

Scientists were able to examine the skeleton of a corpse that lived over 3,000 years ago and discovered that it was missing both feet.

Sergey Kartashov, from the Kurchatov Institute, stated, “On the computer screen, we can see that certain segments of the body were filled with objects during the mummification.

“It is most likely that these are fragments of fabric and possibly ritual instruments.

The corpse was lacking both ankles.
